Headlines from the Daily News are collaged onto the stockpages of the New York Times creating subtle ghosts of words like OUTRAGE! BAGHDAD, and CAUGHT floating on top of or cut into endless columns of numbers. The pages are illustrated with cut-out images from the Times showing war protesters, New York Police security forces, Iraqis fleeing Baghdad, wounded soldiers and other scenes of war. All images are indexed in a special pull-out section. |

It's a newspaper about newspapers. The content reveals an artist's eye view of newspapers alongside articles about their artwork. I wanted to make a paper that mirrored a newspaper in style and in content but also dissected what a newspaper is.
